The night is the best time for beauty procedures. It’s the time when your whole body recuperates, and your efforts are at the peak of efficacy.

Bright Side gathered several pieces of advice for you to take care of yourself while you’re fast asleep.

 

Make an aloe vera facial mask

Aloe vera juice helps whiten the skin, get rid of pimples, and prevent wrinkles. It also takes care of any skin type. Just choose the right mask for your skin: oily, dry, or mixed. It’s best to apply it twice a week.

Make a vitamin E mask for under your eyes

The skin under your eyes is dry, thin, and prone to early wrinkling. To prevent aging, apply vitamin E masks before going to bed. It’s sold over the counter at any drugstore in capsules or as a solution. Add fish oil or olive oil for better effect.

However, be very careful with vitamin E, and use just a few drops of it: applied in large amounts, it can cause swelling and irritation. Apply once a week.

Apply castor oil to your eyelashes and brows

Thoroughly wash an old mascara brush, and dip it into castor oil. Apply the oil to your eyelashes and eyebrows (if necessary) for their rapid growth and density.

Repeat every night before bed.

Apply coconut oil to your lips

Coconut oil will be of great help for dry lips. It takes a long time to absorb, so it’s best to apply it before going to bed so that your lipstick is perfect in the morning.
